For the timber framed standalone garden room we provide an innovative foundation base that is built to last. We drill holes into the floor and fill them with reinforced concrete. On these footings concrete lintels are spanned across forming a beamed floor. The timber framed floor then sits on top of this along with the timber framed wall elevations.

ROOF
Whether you’d prefer the roof to be flat, tapered, apex or angled we are sure we can execute your perfect design. Our roofs are fully insulated to keep your room heat regulated, perfect for any month of the year. We have a range of materials that can be used upon the roof such as the traditional slate tile to the contemporary clad roof. We ensure your garden room with be fully water tight which is why our builders go to special efforts to use the correct materials from start to finish.
WALLS AND INSULATION
Building Options
All our walls are fully insulated, plaster boarded and plastered giving a real home sense to our products. If you are using your garden room as a music or recording studio it may be worth considering acoustic plastering. This is the kind of personalised service we can offer our customers to ensure you are getting the most out of these beautiful builds.
WINDOWS DOORS AND LANTERNS
UGR are proud to use the best windows and doors on the market. We stock bespoke aluminium and high spec timber windows and doors that definitely add to the overall luxuriousness of our garden rooms which uphold the values of quality and customer service we set out to achieve. We work with Accoya which is a hybrid timber that undergoes a process called acetylation, a patented modern technology that stops wood from rotting for 50 years.Â

EXTERNAL FINISHINGS
We would love to know your ideal finished exterior look and start working with you to achieve your dream. Having worked with numerous specialist materials we have a wide range of product knowledge within hard woods, soft woods and synthetics. During the site survey our specialists will talk you through all the available options to guarantee you will be thrilled with your new garden space. Work with the design team to decide the overall design features such as soffits and facias which can create a striking build giving your garden a focal point you may have always wished for. Alternatively you may have been envisioning something softer to blend into the natural environment which is a design we can also offer.
INTERNAL FINISHINGS
The internal fitting is a key part of your build. It is important to make your garden room personal to you so that it reflects your sense of style and functions the way you need it to. Your garden space might be for your business, so we could design a bespoke desk and meeting area for example. Alternatively if your garden room is primarily used to host friends and family then a kitchen internal or external might be required. What ever the intended use of your Utopian Garden Room is, we will tailor it to you.
When designing your garden room keep in mind what you are using it for. If it is for extra living space consider TV satellites, plug sockets and radiators. Likewise if you are using it as a professional space natural light maybe a key feature for you. Our specialists can work through these elements with you and plan the electrics to suit. Our electrics are fitted by experienced electricians that are fully qualified.

At Utopian Garden Rooms we believe lighting is a key feature for our builds. Make your garden room stand out in the dark by adding lights into the soffits and fascia to mirror the inside.
